Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her assistance and dedication to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) services in the course of an engagement along with the agency's senior professionals in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled while in the 2024 matric exams.
Of the 724 156 full-time learners who registered with the National Senior Certificate (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing eighty one% in the registered pupils within the instruction sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
